Old Quilt From Maine from Humble Quilts

It's not in great shape but has some wonderful fabric and an interesting "batting". 
Lovely madder.

I squealed when I saw this print!


Just this one 4 patch with George Washington print. 

Here is a reproduction of that same print.




 
This backing is so delicate looking. 

It does have some stains. The width of the backing is 35". 

The inside layer, which we would put cotton batting,  is this piece of fabric!

I've never seen that before. The quilt measures82"x77" so that "batting" is that large as well. Anybody ...

Oldie but Goodie Historic Quilt Panel from Humble Quilts


Look at this gorgeous historic quilt panel i found recently! I used a red one in the past and do not even know if I have seen this blue one in person. Such a rich color. 

Here is the entire panel. It measures approx 17"x21"


After May when our antique block challenge is over, I am considering doing a challenge with a historic panel. There are many of them that have been printed over the years. It doesn't have to be this one. (although I think I'll have more) I'm posting to see if there would ...
